Brief description of events: Whilst at anchor an explosion occurred at the forward deck area and caused subsequently a fire. The crew managed to evacuate from the burning tanker and was rescued. Salvors T&T Salvage from Galveston were awarded with the LOF Contract and decided to invoke the SCOPIC Clause.
