Camiel is a Master Mariner, who came ashore in 1998 after spending 13 years at sea serving on a variety of ship types including Ocean going tugs, Heavy Lift- & General Cargo vessels. The last 3 years of his career at sea he served as a Master.

Bringing over 25 years of experience in the Shipping industry, Camiel joined GSC end 2010, became a partner in 2011 and is based in the Netherlands.
Camiel has acted in various roles as Project Manager, Salvage Master, Salvage Consultant and as Special Casualty Representative. Over the years he was involved in a number high profile salvage- and wreck removal operations such as REPUBLICCA di GENOVA, VINCA GORTHON and the COSTA CONCORDIA.

Richard is since 2020 an Associate Member of GSC and based in Algeciras, Spain. He started his career in the industry as a Offshore Construction Manager, engaged in some very large wreck removal projects like the NEW FLAME, COSTA CONCORDIA and more recently GOLDEN RAY.

His offshore construction background in combination with marine project related skills make him a valuable team member.

Ryan is since 2022 an Associate Member of GSC and based in Algeciras, Spain. He started his career with the UK Navy and spent there 20 years, of which 10 with the submarine division. He entered the salvage industry in 2011 and since has been engaged in numerous projects such as COSTA CONCORDIA, SMART and more recently the GOLDEN RAY and X-PRESS PEARL wreck removals.

Johan is an Associate Member of GSC and based in The Netherlands. He started his career with the Dutch Special Forces. He entered the salvage industry in 1980 working for a renowned Dutch based salvage company where he climbed through the ranks to Salvage Master. He retired from it after more than 40 years and joined GSC in 2022.

Jacob is one of the founding Partners of GSC and based in Singapore. He started his sea going career on board ocean going salvage tugs and got involved in a number of salvage operations during this period. After his graduation he obtained deep sea experience on ro-ro vessels and full container ships, both in the deck and engine room departments.

Jacob is a Master Mariner and in addition holds a Marine Engineering degree. After his time at sea he joined a well-known international operating salvage firm and was involved, as Salvage Master, Project Director and General Manager, in many high profile salvage and wreck removal operations such as the NEW CARISSA, KURSK and ROKIA DELMAS.
Since 2008 he is a member of the SCR panel and has been appointed in this capacity in a number of cases such as KOTA KADO, TIGER SPRING and RENA

Francis is since 2014 an Associate Member in GSC and based in Singapore. He started his diving career with the Royal Singapore Navy in the early seventies and moved into the salvage industry as a Diver in 1977. From 1983 to 1986, he pursued a career as off-shore Diver but decided to return back in the salvage industry in 1986. In 1988 Francis became Salvage Master and in 2008 he was promoted to Senior Salvage Master. In addition, Francis has been working from time to time as Project Manager for off shore installation projects.

Francis is bringing 40 years of salvage experience and has been involved in a number high profile salvage and wreck removal operations including SEA PRINCE, TWIN STAR and HYUNDAI 105. Since 2019 he resigned from the SCR Panel, however continues to be available to share his extensive knowledge and experience as Salvage Consultant.

Eric is since 2023 an Associate Member of GSC and based in Singapore. He started his career with the Singapore Navy in the mid 1970’s and joined a well-known salvage company in 1983, where he climbed through the ranks to Salvage Master. In 1994 he was seconded to an affiliated heavy lift company and continued working there until 2023. Eric brings a wealth of heavy lifting and salvage experience to the team.

Pim is since 2011 an Associate Member in GSC and based in Cape Town South Africa. He started his sea going carrier in 1965 as Apprentice on general cargo and reefer ships and went through the ranks obtaining his Master Mariners. In 1975 he joined the tug division of Safmarine, becoming involved in the salvage industry and was appointed CEO in 2002 after the company went through a number of take overs. After ten years being an active SCR, Pim decided to retire from the Panel in 2019, however continues to be available to assist the Salvage Industry.

Pim has been involved in more than 200 salvage and wreck removal cases, as Salvage Master, General Manager and SCR. More recent involvements are RENA, SMART and YUSOF CEPNIOGLU.

Ian is since 2018 an Associate Member of GSC and based in Durban, South Africa. He started his seagoing career with Safmarine in 1972 and sailed on general cargo vessels and tankers. He jointed the salvage tugs In 1977 and became a Master of the ETV's JOHN ROSS and WOLRAAD WOLTEMADE in 1995. He served in this position until 2005. During this period and when on leave, Ian conducted several salvage projects as a Salvage Master. After he resigned as Master from the ETV’s, he continued working as a Salvage Master / Project Manager until 2017.

Ian is one of the few in the industry holding an Extra Master, part A&B. He has been involved in a large number of salvage and wreck removal cases like the JOLLY ROBINO, CAPE AFRICA and SMART. Since 2019 he is a member of Lloyds SCR Panel.

Born in a family with roots in the industry, he effectively started his salvage carrier in 2014 working as a commercial and operational executive for an international operating salvage firm in Singapore. He obtained an MBA on the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Phoenix, USA and is a native Mandarin speaker.
