Brief description of events: With a cargo of sand and aggregates stone from Tuticorn India, the vessel dropped anchor off Fuvahmulah, Maldives. Reportedly whilst waiting to obtain clearance to proceed to the port, her anchor started to drag and subsequently she grounded on a coral reef. SMIT Salvage was awarded the LOF contract The vessel was refloated and after all pollutants being removed, scuttled in the Indian Ocean.
